Terms and Conditions
24/7 Mobile Tyre Services
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) set out the basis on which 24/7 Mobile Tyre Services provides mobile tyre fitting and related services to you. Please read them carefully. By booking a service with us, by telephone, WhatsApp, our website, or in person, you agree to these Terms.
If you have any questions about these Terms before you book, contact us on 07955 533000 or info@247mobiletyreservice.co.uk.
1. Who we are
In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean 24/7 Mobile Tyre Services.
- Trading name: 24/7 Mobile Tyre Services
- Address: 100 Jessie St, Polmadie, Glasgow G42 0PG
- Telephone / WhatsApp: 07955 533000
- Email: info@247mobiletyreservice.co.uk
“You” means the person booking or receiving the services.
2. About these Terms
These Terms apply to every booking and service we provide, unless we have agreed something different with you in writing. They form the contract between you and us.
Nothing in these Terms affects your legal rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, or other applicable law. Where these Terms and your statutory rights conflict, your statutory rights apply.
3. Our services
We are a mobile tyre service. We come to your chosen location and carry out work at the roadside, at your home, or at your place of work, subject to it being safe and legal for us to do so.
Our services include:
- Supply and fitting of new tyres
- Emergency tyre replacement, available 24 hours a day
- Puncture repairs carried out to the British Standard for tyre repair (BS AU 159)
- Wheel balancing
- Tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) sensor and valve work
- Bead reseating and resealing
- Locking wheel nut removal
- Fitting of tyres supplied by you
We are tyre specialists. We do not carry out wheel alignment, brake work, or suspension work. If we identify that your vehicle needs any of these, we will tell you and recommend that you contact a suitable specialist. We will not carry out work that we consider to be unsafe, and we will not repair a tyre that does not meet the requirements for a safe repair.
4. Booking and quotations
You can book by telephone, WhatsApp, our website, or in person.
Any price we give you before we attend is an estimate based on the information you provide, including your tyre size and the nature of the problem. We confirm the price with you before we begin work. The final price depends on the tyre size and type you choose (budget, mid-range or premium) and the work required.
If, once we arrive, the work needed is different from what was first described, we will explain this and confirm any change in price with you before continuing. We will not carry out additional chargeable work without your agreement.
We will always tell you the total price for the work, including any callout or emergency charge, before we start. We do not add hidden charges after the work is done.
5. Prices and payment
Unless we have agreed otherwise in writing, payment is due in full on completion of the work.
We accept the payment methods we confirm with you at the time of booking.
A callout or emergency charge may apply, particularly for out-of-hours, holiday, or roadside attendance. Where it applies, we will tell you the amount before we attend.
If payment is not made when due, we reserve the right to recover the outstanding amount, together with any reasonable costs we incur in recovering it, to the extent permitted by law.
6. Payment disputes and chargebacks
If you are unhappy with any part of our service, or you have a query about a charge, please contact us first on 07955 533000 or info@247mobiletyreservice.co.uk so that we have the opportunity to put it right. Most issues can be resolved quickly this way.
You agree to raise any concern with us, and give us a reasonable opportunity to respond, before contacting your bank or card provider to dispute or reverse a payment.
Where work has been authorised by you and completed by us, payment for that work is due. We keep records of our work, which may include the booking details and messages you send us, the time and location of attendance, and photographs of the vehicle and tyres before and after the work. We may use these records to respond to a payment dispute or chargeback.
This clause does not affect your statutory rights, including your right to a refund where the law entitles you to one.
7. Your right to cancel
Where you book a service by telephone, WhatsApp, our website, or in person away from our business premises, you normally have the right to cancel within 14 days, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, without giving a reason.
Emergency and urgent work. If you ask us to carry out the work straight away, before the end of the 14-day cancellation period, you are asking us to begin providing the service during that period. By doing so:
- you accept that you will be charged for the work you have asked us to do; and
- you accept that once the work has been fully carried out, you will no longer have the right to cancel.
If you cancel after we have begun work but before it is fully completed, you must pay for the work carried out and any materials used up to the point of cancellation, calculated as a fair proportion of the full service.
Booking deposit and cancellation. A £99 booking deposit is required to confirm your booking.
- If you cancel before a technician has been dispatched, you may be eligible for a refund of the £99 booking deposit, subject to any payment processing fees where applicable.
- If you cancel after a technician has been dispatched, the £99 booking deposit is non-refundable, as costs will already have been incurred for technician allocation, travel, and operational resources.
- If the technician arrives at the agreed location and the service cannot be completed because the customer is unavailable, incorrect information was provided, or the booking is cancelled on arrival, the £99 booking deposit will not be refunded.
How to cancel. To cancel, contact us on 07955 533000 or info@247mobiletyreservice.co.uk and tell us clearly that you wish to cancel. You can use these details, or any other clear statement. We recommend you do so in writing (for example by text or email) so that you have a record.
8. If we cannot complete the work
Occasionally we may be unable to carry out or complete a booking, for example if the correct tyre is not available, if the location is unsafe to work in, if access to the vehicle is not possible, or if the vehicle or tyre condition prevents safe work.
If this happens, we will explain why, and we will not charge you for work we have not done. Where a callout charge has been agreed, we will tell you whether it still applies, for example where we have attended your location as requested. We will offer to rearrange the booking where possible.
9. Workmanship, tyres and guarantee
We carry out our work with reasonable care and skill, as required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Puncture repairs are carried out only where the tyre meets the requirements for a safe repair, and are completed to the British Standard BS AU 159.
New tyres we supply carry the tyre manufacturer’s own warranty, where one applies.
Any guarantee does not cover:
- further punctures or damage caused after our work, including road hazards, kerb or pothole damage, and debris
- damage caused by driving on an under-inflated or over-inflated tyre
- normal wear, or damage caused by misuse, accident, or a fault elsewhere on the vehicle
- issues arising from a fault we advised you about and recommended you have checked by a specialist
10. Your responsibilities
To help us carry out the work safely and correctly, you agree to:
- give us accurate information about your vehicle and tyres, including the tyre size where you have it
- confirm that you are the owner of the vehicle, or that you are authorised to instruct work on it
- be present at the agreed location, or arrange for someone to provide access on your behalf
- make sure the location is safe, legal, and accessible for us to carry out mobile work
- provide the locking wheel nut key where your vehicle has one
- tell us about anything that may affect the work or our safety
If you do not provide what we reasonably need, we may be unable to complete the work, and clause 8 may apply.
11. Vehicle and tyre condition
We are not responsible for any pre-existing fault, damage, or condition of your vehicle or tyres that was present before we began work.
During our work we may notice issues that fall outside our services, such as alignment, brake, or suspension concerns. Where we do, we will let you know so that you can arrange for a specialist to inspect them. It is your responsibility to act on that advice.
12. Old tyres
We will remove and dispose of your old tyres responsibly. If a tyre disposal charge applies, we will tell you the amount before we start.
13. Our liability to you
We do not exclude or limit our liability to you in any way where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under law.
Subject to the paragraph above, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these Terms or our failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
Where we are liable to you, and except where the law provides otherwise, our total liability for any one booking is limited to the price paid for the services provided under that booking.
We are not responsible for any failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, traffic conditions, road closures, accidents, or other emergencies. Where such an event affects a booking, we will contact you to rearrange.
14. Complaints
We want you to be happy with our service. If something is not right, please contact us first on 07955 533000 or info@247mobiletyreservice.co.uk. We aim to acknowledge complaints promptly and to resolve them as quickly as we can.
If we cannot resolve a complaint between us, you can seek advice from Citizens Advice or your local Trading Standards service.
15. Your information
We collect and use your personal information, such as your name, contact details, vehicle details, and location, only to provide our services and to contact you about your booking. We handle your information in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version of the Terms that applies to your booking is the version published on our website at the time you book.
17. Governing law
These Terms, and any contract between you and us, are governed by the law of Scotland. Any dispute will be subject to the courts of Scotland. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, this does not affect your right to bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK where you live.
