Flat tyre on the driveway before work, a blowout coming off the M8, or a van sitting useless in a yard when it should be out on a route? Call us and a fully equipped mobile fitter is usually with you within 30 minutes, anywhere in Glasgow. We fit at your kerb, your driveway, the office car park or the roadside, 24 hours a day, and you do not need a spare.
A real person answers the phone, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
We are a family run mobile tyre service based at 100 Jessie Street in Polmadie, inside the city rather than driving in from somewhere else when your call lands. That one fact is the whole reason we can put a fitter with you in around 30 minutes across most of Glasgow.
Everyone in this trade says 24/7. Fewer can tell you why they are actually quick. Our vans run pre-loaded with the sizes that come up most often across the city, from small city car fitments right up to 285/40 R23. When you call, we take your tyre size off the sidewall or pull it from your registration, check what is on the van, and give you a firm price before anyone sets off. Then we go.
The van carries a tyre machine, an electronic wheel balancer, a torque wrench, TPMS tools, locking wheel nut extraction gear, a compressor and lighting for night work. Budget, mid range and premium tyres are available, and we fit customer supplied tyres.
If you are further out, in bad weather, or at the tail end of a busy Friday night, we will tell you the honest arrival time on the phone. We would rather give you a real number than a comfortable one.
One van, every job on this list, and no need to move the car.
New tyres supplied, fitted, balanced and torqued wherever the vehicle is standing, at home, at work, in a yard or at the roadside. Budget, mid range and premium brands for cars, vans, 4x4s and SUVs, in sizes up to 285/40 R23. The old tyre leaves with us.
Blowouts, shredded sidewalls and tyres that simply will not hold air any more. This is our busiest call-out and it runs at 3am on a Sunday exactly as it does at 3pm on a Tuesday. No spare in the boot is not a problem, we bring the tyre with us.
We assess the damage on site and, where the puncture sits in the central three quarters of the tread and is no larger than 6mm, we do a proper internal repair rather than selling you a tyre you do not need. Sidewall or shoulder damage cannot be repaired legally or safely, and we will tell you that straight.
Vibration through the steering wheel between 50 and 70 mph usually means a lost balance weight or a wheel that needs rebalanced. We carry an electronic balancer on the van, so it is done at the roadside rather than booked in for next week. Balancing is included with every new tyre we fit.
A tyre pressure warning light that returns after you inflate the tyre is normally a corroded valve or a sensor at the end of its battery life. We test, replace and reprogram the sensor to your vehicle so the light actually goes out and stays out.
Lost key, seized nut, or a rounded head left by a previous fitter. We extract it without ruining the alloy, get the wheel off, and supply a replacement nut so you are not back in the same position in six months.
Glasgow runs on trade vans, private hire and delivery work, and every hour off the road costs money. We fit cars, vans, taxis, 4x4s, SUVs and light commercials, and we work out of hours so a vehicle is ready for its first run of the day.
Nights, weekends, bank holidays and Christmas Day. The price does not change because of the hour, and a person answers the phone rather than an answering service that gets picked up on Monday.
You walk out, the car is sitting low on one corner, and the school run is in fifteen minutes. We take these calls every single weekday morning across the Southside, the West End and the East End. Because we come to you, nobody has to limp the car anywhere or wait on a recovery truck.
The M8 carries some of the heaviest traffic in Scotland straight through the middle of the city, and sustained speed builds heat. Heat is what turns an unnoticed puncture into a sudden deflation. Get the car as far onto the hard shoulder as you safely can, leave through the passenger side, stand behind the barrier, then call.
Glasgow has near constant roadworks and construction traffic, particularly around the city centre, the retail parks and the industrial estates at Hillington and Cambuslang. Tread punctures are the single most common job we attend, and plenty of them are repairable.
Topping it up at the garage every couple of days is not a fix, and it is quietly damaging the tyre from the inside while you drive on it under inflated. We find the leak and either repair it properly or replace the tyre.
Parking on narrow residential streets in Shawlands, Dennistoun, Partick and Govanhill means constant kerbside manoeuvring, and that produces a steady flow of kerbed rims and scuffed sidewalls. A bulge in a sidewall means the internal structure has already gone. That tyre cannot be repaired and should not be driven on.
The UK legal minimum is 1.6mm across the central three quarters of the tread. It is three penalty points and a fine of up to £2,500 per illegal tyre, and it is an instant MOT failure. If a test has just flagged yours, we can sort it at your house rather than at a garage.
Car parks are where drivers get properly stuck, because the vehicle genuinely cannot be moved and recovery is awkward. Height restrictions are not usually an issue for us. Give us the level and the bay number and we will come to the car.
A seized or rounded locking nut stops the job before it starts. It is a specialist extraction, not a bigger spanner, and it is one of the jobs we get called in for by drivers who have already been turned away somewhere else.
Six steps, one visit, and the whole job finished at your kerb.
Give us the location, the vehicle and what has happened. Your registration helps us confirm the tyre size if you cannot read it off the sidewall.
Options from budget to premium, a firm figure with the call-out included, and a realistic arrival window for your location. No commitment until you are happy with the number.
The van is loaded and on the road straight away, usually from Polmadie or from wherever the nearest van is working. Around 30 minutes across most of Glasgow.
Wheel off, old tyre broken down and taken away, new tyre mounted and seated, balanced on the van, refitted and torqued to your manufacturer's figure with a wrench.
Tread depth and pressures across all four. The UK legal minimum is 1.6mm across the central three quarters of the tread, and we would rather you knew now than at your MOT.
Pay at the vehicle and the old tyre goes with us for proper disposal. Most jobs are finished within an hour of the first phone call.
More reviews, at a higher average, than any other mobile tyre fitter showing up in the Glasgow results. Read them yourself before you ring anyone.
Worth checking with any national brand before you rely on them. The big mobile fitting operations run pre planned route slots and several of them will not attend an emergency at all. Emergency work is what this business exists to do.
Our base is 100 Jessie Street, Polmadie, G42 0PG. You are speaking to the people who will turn up, not a national call centre selling your job on to whichever subcontractor bids for it.
Not an answering service, not a voicemail box picked up on Monday morning. Nights, weekends and bank holidays, we answer.
Balancer, torque wrench, TPMS relearn tool, locking nut extractor set and a stocked rack of budget through to premium brands. The job gets finished properly at the roadside, not half done.
We tell you the number on the phone and the call-out is in it. No arriving to a different figure because it is late, and no out of hours surcharge.
A repairable puncture gets repaired. Where a repair is safe it costs you a fraction of a new tyre, and where it is not safe we will say so rather than sell you a patch that should not be there.
Every image on this page is our own work across Glasgow. Nothing here was bought from a stock library.
We cover the full G postcode range, G1 to G81, and work out into Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire and Dunbartonshire.
City Centre and Merchant City, West End, Partick, Hillhead, Finnieston, Dennistoun, Parkhead, Springburn, Maryhill, Anniesland, Knightswood, Govan, Ibrox, Cardonald, Pollok, Shawlands, Govanhill, Pollokshields, Polmadie, Castlemilk, Croftfoot and Rutherglen.
Glasgow Airport, Braehead, Silverburn, Glasgow Fort, the SEC and OVO Hydro, Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow Royal Infirmary, Hillington Park, Cambuslang Investment Park, Hampden and Celtic Park, and the park and ride car parks along the M8.
Paisley, Renfrew, Clydebank, Bearsden, Milngavie, Bishopbriggs, Kirkintilloch, Cumbernauld, Coatbridge, Airdrie, Motherwell, Wishaw, Hamilton, East Kilbride, Newton Mearns, Barrhead and Cambuslang.
The M8 through the city including the Kingston Bridge, the M74 and M77, the M73, the A82 out to the Clyde Tunnel and Dumbarton, the A77 south, the A8 to Greenock and the A803. Our vans are compliant for the Glasgow Low Emission Zone, so a city centre address is not an obstacle.
Glasgow is a dense, hard working city built around a motorway that runs straight through the middle of it, and that is the honest explanation for most of the tyre work here.
The M8 is the spine. It cuts through the city centre and over the Kingston Bridge carrying one of the heaviest traffic loads in the country, then feeds the M74 south towards Carlisle and the M77 out to Ayrshire. Long distance, sustained speed and heat find the weak spot in a tyre that has already been damaged by something else. That is why motorway blowouts are the calls we treat as most urgent, and why they rarely come out of nowhere.
The second factor is the street pattern. Large parts of the city are tenement built, with narrow residential streets, heavy kerbside parking and constant manoeuvring in tight spaces. Shawlands, Dennistoun, Partick, Govanhill and Pollokshields produce a steady flow of kerbed rims and scuffed sidewalls that never get noticed until the tyre goes soft a week later.
The third is roadworks and construction. Glasgow has been rebuilding around the Clyde and the city centre for years, and where lorries and plant work, screws, swarf and dropped metal follow. Van tyres pick them up first, which is why so much of our trade work is punctures rather than blowouts.
Winter adds the last layer. Frost and ice damage tyres indirectly, by putting wheels into kerbs, pothole edges and verges that would have been avoidable on a dry surface. Every January we see a spike in sidewall damage and buckled rims across the whole city.
One practical suggestion for anyone commuting the M8 daily. Check your pressures fortnightly rather than monthly. Motorway commuting under inflated is the single most common avoidable failure we attend on this corridor, and it is a two minute job at any forecourt.
Real call-outs, real vans, real weather. Every photo here is ours.
Our Google profile averages 5.0 across 66 reviews, the highest review count of any mobile tyre fitter in the Glasgow results. The themes are consistent: how fast the van arrived, prices that matched the quote, and fitters who were easy to deal with.
Glasgow, top class service. I was stranded at 2am in the morning with a burst tyre on the motorway. The staff sourced my tyre size and arrived in 20mins. The job was carried out in a very quick and professional manner. Prices were very reasonable, I have no complaints about the service provided.
Was able to get a quote within minutes and the guys were out within half an hour. Super friendly and efficient, great service.
Hit a pothole and had a burst tyre on Xmas eve, they were out and fixed it in 40 mins. Friendly and great service as well. Very impressed.
Best service ever. Kept me updated the whole time, got the tyres I requested same day and fixed them within the hour and in the rain. True legends.
Absolutely superb. Hassle free, quick, easy and very reasonably priced for call out and tyre repair. Very friendly guys, will defo use again.
Excellent response and service, brought and fitted an OE tyre to a remote spot by Loch Lomond, all with a professional approach, smartly presented team and a well maintained, well equipped vehicle. Highly recommended.
Whether it is a car outside a close in Shawlands, a van stuck at Hillington Park or a blowout on the hard shoulder of the M8, the answer is the same. Tell us where you are and what has happened, and you will have a price and a realistic arrival time before you hang up.
Covering Glasgow, G1 to G81, Paisley, Clydebank, East Kilbride, Hamilton, Motherwell and the surrounding towns, 24 hours a day.
Usually around 30 minutes from your call, and most jobs are completely finished within an hour. We are based in Polmadie, inside the city, and the vans go out pre-loaded. If traffic or weather means it will be longer, we tell you the real number on the phone rather than after you have booked.
Around 20 to 30 minutes per wheel once we are with you. That covers removing the wheel, taking the old tyre off, fitting and seating the new one, balancing it on the van, refitting and torquing to your manufacturer’s specification, and checking your pressures.
Yes, seven days a week including nights, weekends and bank holidays. The price does not change because of the hour, and night call-outs are a large part of what we do. Call 07955 533000 whenever it happens.
It depends on your tyre size, the brand you pick and what the job involves. The figure includes the tyre, fitting, balancing, a new valve, disposal and the call-out. You get the full total before the van is dispatched, and that is what you pay.
Not by as much as most people assume, and often it works out cheaper once you account for a recovery truck or a day off work. There is no separate call-out fee on our jobs, so you are comparing our fitted price against a garage’s fitted price plus getting the car there.
We carry stock on the van, from budget through to premium brands, in the sizes that come up most across Glasgow and up to 285/40 R23. Give us your tyre size or registration when you ring and we will confirm straight away whether it is on board.
No, and you should be cautious about anyone who says they will. The Highway Code states you should not attempt repairs on the hard shoulder. Pull as far left as possible, leave the vehicle by the passenger side, get behind the barrier and call for help. Once the vehicle has been recovered somewhere safe, we will come and fit the tyre there.
Often yes. A repair is possible when the damage is in the central three quarters of the tread and no bigger than 6mm. Sidewall damage, shoulder damage, a bulge and any tyre driven on while flat cannot be repaired safely. We check on site and tell you which it is.
No. We bring the tyre to you, so a missing spare, a space-saver or a failed sealant kit makes no difference. This is the single most common reason people call us in the first place.
Yes. We carry extraction tooling and remove them without damaging the alloy in the great majority of cases, and we can supply a replacement set so it does not happen again.
Yes, we do fitting only work including balancing and pressure setting, and we will check the size and rating against your vehicle before fitting anything. Tell us when you call so we quote for fitting rather than supply.
Normally a corroded valve or a sensor at the end of its battery life rather than a genuine pressure problem. We test the sensor, replace it where needed and reprogram it to your vehicle so the light clears properly.
Yes. Driveways, work car parks, multi-storeys, underground car parks, yards and retail park spaces are all normal for us. Height restrictions are rarely an issue. Give us the level and the bay number and we will come to the car.
Yes, and it is a large part of what we do. Trade vans, private hire, delivery drivers and small fleets can ask about account rates and priority response when they call.
You do not need a spare, you do not need to move the car, and you do not need to wait until the morning. Call 07955 533000 now, or send us your location on WhatsApp.
